Our Work

Bridging Global Medicine and Medical Supply Inequity

Despite major advances in global healthcare, millions of people in low- and middle-income countries continue to lack access to essential, life-saving medications.   In countries like Afghanistan, clinics frequently face shortages of basic medicines necessary to treat infections, manage chronic conditions, and prevent preventable illnesses. These gaps have serious consequences — affecting patient health, increasing avoidable suffering, and straining already fragile health systems.   Conversely, healthcare institutions in higher-income countries often maintain excess inventories of medicines that are sealed, safe, and unexpired but remain unused due to regulatory constraints, supply chain complexities, or logistical challenges. This paradox highlights a persistent and systemic failure in global health equity: critical medicines exist but are not reaching the people who need them most.
